Service Projects
The Zonta Club of New York supports a wide-range of service projects
aimed at improving the status of women.
- Violence Against Women
Zonta International has taken aim to eliminate violence against women.

assist you in working with us.
- Phillips
Beth Israel School of Nursing $100 per year to a female student
for the purchase of books. In December at ourt dinner meeting we also
collect new stuffed toys to be given to children who must stay in hospital
during the holidays.
- Guild for the Blind Provides
services to New Yorkers with vision disabilities. If you are interested
in contributing your time and talent to the Guild, please call Karen
Haines, volunteer coordinator for the Guild for the Blind at 212-769-7816.
- Collection of Toiletries
Each year at its November dinner meeting, the Zonta Club of New York
collects toiletries and other essentials for the Brooklyn Center Against
Domestic Violence, and a collection of new baby clothes for Inwood
House.
- Scholarships Each year
the Zonta Club of NY raises funds to contribute to local, district and
international scholarships. A listing of these can be found by clicking
“Scholarships” on the left hand side of this page. For
