Club Meetings and Programs

Program Meetings – National Arts Club
Program meetings are held at the National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South in Manhattan, and begin at 6:00 pm. There is a $40 charge for the dinner. Please reserve by contacting Frances Bauer via email.

Please note that the UN dinner on February 29th is a special event and may have an additional cost and be held at another location.

• December 13 – Mad Hot Ballroom Celebration of the Holidays, with holiday fundraising raffle and stuffed toy collection for children hospitalized for the holidays
  
• January 17 – Amelia Earhart’s Legacy of Young Women in Aeronautical Careers. Earhart, a member of the NY Club, was a pioneer in her field. This gives us a chance to get to know where women like her are going and how we can help them succeed.
  
• February 29 – Annual United Nations Dinner, sponsored by the Zonta Club of NY, with honorary guests Olivia Ferry, Zonta International President; Beryl Sten, Zonta International President-elect, and other dignatories from the Zonta International Board visiting New York during the UN Commission on the Status of Women. • March 20 – Women’s History Month focuses on Modern Day Slavery, with representation from Africans in America and Sanctuary for Families – and a note about how to be active on this issue from the Coalition against Trafficking in Women and Girls
  
• April 17 – Women Succeeding in Business – a prominent author/researcher shares her observations. Discussion follows.
  
• May 15 – Annual Business Meeting, with newly elected officers taking office and a final report from the President.
  
• June – TBA – 85th Anniversary of the Zonta Club of NY – come celebrate with us as we cross the river for this very special occasion! Frances Bauer will share the details, so be sure to contact her to get on her list.

Business meetings are held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the offices of one of our members. Please contact president@zontanyc.org if you would like to attend. Here are the dates for the remainder of this year:
